Mr. Kavindra Taliyan

He is currently the CEO of AIC-JNUFI and implementing NGO DARPAN 2.0 at NITI AAYOG. Prior to this, Kavindra was the CEO and co-founder at SGEOM Technology (a Speech Recognition Technology Gurgaon based- startup) from Nov 2018 to Jan 2021. He was the co-founder and CEO of Ontwerp Tech Private Limited Bangalore from 2015 to 2018. The company was acquired by a US-based giant. Prior to this, Kavindra served as Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company London office where he helped shape the digital and analytics journeys of several global enterprises and providers. As a team member in Strategic Planning Practice at McKinsey & Company, he worked extensively with blue-chip companies like Citi Bank, PHH Corporation, Cadbury, and British Telecom in developing customized solutions that met the organizations’ specific needs resulting in delivering sustainable competitive advantage. Kavindra also worked with Cognizant Technology Solutions India Private Limited Kolkata as a programmer analyst.
Kavindra is a member of steering committee of FINCLUVATION (a join initiative of India Post Payments Bank and Department of Post, Ministry of Communication, Govt. of India). He’s a founding member of Horizon Institute, a framework that advises global governments on Blockchain policies.
He is a mentor to a Delhi-based startup HatchnHack Private Limited with a turnover of Rs 3.6 Crore. He was also a member of a Research Project of Parliament of India dedicated to North-East region of India. The rationale of the project was “The Economy of North-East and Industrialization Challenges and Opportunities in this region”.
Kavindra is a dual degree graduate in Computer Science from IIT Kharagpur and earned an MBA in Strategy from WBS United Kingdom.
He is the recipient of Indian Achievers’ Award for Business Leadership 2022 in recognition of Outstanding Professional Achievement and Contribution in Nation Building.
